Whoa, where is Snow? Noel is trying to put the moves on his girl.

FF XIII's battle system is what made the game good, just give us control of other party members and call it a day.

I fear they have changed too much.

The stagger bar is gone which was essential to the concept of the original battle system.

The have something saying count 2 which means you might time your attack with other characters, won't work unless the system is slowed down.

Changing characters is probably there cus it seems like we are controlling noel who's second on the HP line bar thingy, not at the top...so we can control non party leaders.

We'll know all on Monday.

Sadly I am not, as my day job pays rather poorly these past few years.  I should be getting a new one in a few months so there is always next year :P

They need to fix the difficulty or make battles less tiresome...make it fun to grind again please

I predicted  a better sequel that addressed the drawbacks of FFXIII months ago, and it seems squeenix is responding positively to the criticisms they received on the prequel.

Battle system and lack of exploration were the 2 big cries that roared on the interwebz. Expect, in the near future (maybe E3?) an announcement of an open, flexible world, and a controllable battle system with some real depth.

They're off to a good start but I'm going to have to see/hear more before I decide on whether to rent this or not.
