As for the 32nm GPU, do some research. AMD have been talking for 2 years about making them.

Nope the Radeon HD 6xxx series were gonna be 32nm but TSMC cancelled 32nm to move straight to 22nm. So the 6xxx series are still 40nm.

TSMC moved to 28 nm, not 22.  And GlobalFoundries has started up their 32 nm process again.

Oh yeah my bad. Intel is the one moving to 22nm next year (or this year? I forget. Its the Sandy Bridge die shrink)

Wasn't Intel working on something with Nintendo? :0

Correct.  Likely 2012 for Ivy Bridge.  The Sandy Bridge die shrink.

I think Intel was talking to Nintendo about the former Larrabee GPGPU system but since Intel canceled the original concept of Larrabee it's no longer an option.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

oh lame.... :|

Maybe they said that and it's all secret. I guess we'll find out in about a week. Can't wait. ><

I have a question for you guys. Seeing how the "dolphin" emulator has been shown to upconvert or whatever it does Wii games to 1080p, do you think it would be at all possible to do the same with a console?

Intel not cancelling Larrabee as a secret ploy?  Not when it comes to informing investors, the US SEC, and other licensing partners that it was canceled.   The architecure lives on as a research system but not as the GPGPU bad ass we were looking forward to in 2008/2009 (2009 was ehen they canceled it by the way).

Eh, you never know until you do know which will be when Reggie steps onto stage with a strange box in one hand and a coffee cup in another.

The surprise? Turns out the coffee cup is the size of the new console ;)

The slogan, "Bigger is not always better"

Then begs the question, well, where do we stick the disc in?

Answer, you don't. You Stream it in like how you do when you pour coffee into a cup.

:D

This is 100% false. Why don't you wait a week?

Media: Custom Blu-ray, up ot 50 GB.
Compared to HD consoles:  On par with PS3.  Superior to X360.   Bandwidth will be a concern unless part of the custom is much faster drive speeds.
Validity: Somewhat doubtful.  Licensing from a consortium which Sony is the head partner is dubious.  Especially when there are many competing optical disc mediums that would not require the fees to the Blu-ray Group and have higher drive speeds.  And while it's just as dubious, it should be known that Nintendo invested heavily into a company that worked on holographic storage media.

You forgot the obvius red flag of the fact that they refered to it as Blu-ray something nintendo would never do even if it was bassed on blu-ray, they would have referred to it as Nintendo disc format 3. Holographic discs are still 5 years away from being mass market, including one in the cafe would cost far more, for far longer than Blu-ray in the PS3 both the drives and discs are very expensive to manufacture each disc currently costs $100 plus and even including the ramp up in production for Cafe I doubt they could get it below $1 per disc by 2012 which means Nintendo won't use it.
