No way is Nintendo going to use blu-ray.

1) Nintendo is trying their hardest to fight piracy, and blu-ray is very easy to rip.

2) It would be a lot cheaper for Nintendo to develop their own format disc.  With Blu-ray they will have to pay royalties, as well as using a competing companies format.

Other then that, the list seems logical for a next Gen console. 

Validity of the rumor aside, it says "custom Blu-Ray" which could easily mean it wouldn't be possible or easy to read with normal Blu-ray drives.

FAKE, specially about the Bluray disc, I don't think Nintendo wants to pay royalties to Sony just to use the format but would be smart since they are hitting the HD market now....they still far behind!

God I hope it's not real. Whoever says that 512 MB of storage is enough memory to satisfy the needs of those who buy downloadable games and content needs to have their head examined.

Indeed, that Nintendo would downgrade to a conventional hard drive is the main reason this screams fake to me.

Allow me to expand on that: if Nintendo goes High-def without a proper hard drive with at least 40 Gigabytes of memory, then they're probably high, deaf, or stupid!

The smallest SSD that Cafe could get would be 8GB, not 512MB...
