Most likely both, BF3 on release and will wait for MW3 price drop, unless of course all my friends purchase it, in which case I'll join the competitive multiplayer experience
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Probably MW3 but I'll wait for the reviews, I don't know if the new studio will do a good job. I didn't like Bad Company 2, so more than likely I will not be buying Battlefield 3.

They are not, but they might be implementing a premium service this other thread explains.

THis kills me and is why I really dislike EA/DICE for doing this route as their jump into consoles.
BF series is not really like bad company 2. BF3 will be very much better in almost any concievable way.
I keep telling people, look at the trailers for each and if you're still undecided, rent BF3 first. THe core gameplay, tons of vehicles on land/air/sea, far better team play, and generally far better maps just make BF a superior product. Then you add in the new fully destructable environments.. and bam you have a clearly better FPS.
probably both on PS3 thats all i have i like the campaigns there really action packed and have great gunplay im also a big fan of the modern environments and weapons along with other SP gameplay modes like spec ops and survival i dont know if BF3 will have any other SP game modes like that but it may make that up with its campaign it looks to be alot more epic and fresh
but i can see why people are tired of COD i just replayed some of mw2 and after playing other fps like kz and crysis it feels really dated particularly the animations or lack there of in recent FPS game like the ones mentioned you can see your players legs and when climbing over a ledge or just jumping you see arm animations of it in COD there is none its like a floating hand holding a gun moving over ledges when prompted to
i hope BF3 has more animations of the player

Play Me
Battlefield 3 on PC, and I haven't bought a Battlefield game since Battlefield 2 back in 2005.
I've never really enjoyed the Call of Duty series.
BF3 for PS3 and PC... for PC because is where it must be played, and in PS3 because most of my friends arent PC gamers...
will not get MW3 for what i know now about it... only will consider it if it turns out to be a different game from what MW was.

Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4
Maybe BF3 on PC. I will buy MW3 if it will be a completely different game than the others. I got tired of COD, its the same thing every year. The only thing that I like is the zombie mode and I can't wait for the release of the mod tools this summer and hundreds of zombie maps for free!
