I wanted to buy Uncharted 3 but now that Pachter likes it, I don't want it anymore.

Am I the only one that thinks MGS4 is still the best looking game on consoles?

...Anybody?

I don't think it has dated enough though.

Sure you get the common frame dip and there are plenty of blurry textures, but if you get the perfect view in the game, it's mindblowing stuff.

OT:  This pumps me up even more for the beauty that will be Uncharted 3. I know some disagree, but after playing GoW 3, Killzone 3, Heavy Rain I still think Uncharted 2 is the best looking game out there.

As for 3D, let me just say now I feel like I can't wait to get a 3D tv. Makes me feel like I don't even want to play Uncharted 3 until I can play it in 3D. But, unfortunately, I won't be able to get a 3D tv for probably at least 2 yrs; so I'll just have to play U3 the "old fashioned" way haha.

Can't wait for this game. Midnight purchase for me. Was slightly excited about the 3D before, thinking it would be fun to try for a while like most other games in 3D. But now, my excitement has grown significantly. Can't wait! 

Uncharted 3 will have to come with a warning:

"Your eyes might melt from the sheer beauty from this game"

I pre-ordered this back in December. Can't wait for my mind to be blown and my graphics nipples to be teased. 

i do read about this game, and this are good news, but i will not see scans, trailers, gameplay, anything on the eye... i want to be kicked in the nuts by its beauty, in the privacy of my living room.

Even with the thumbs up from Patcher, 3DTV's aren't in my shopping cart anytime soon.
