Which one? I am ignorant because I was young when I played the NES, or SNES. I do though remember a lot of old school shooters, but only in arcades.

The Nintendo 64.

Technically there were FPS on SNES (Doom), etc...  However, FPS on home consoles really didn't take off till N64 (Goldeneye / Perfect Dark).  Some of the Turoks were alright however Goldeneye pretty much paved the way.

For realism, do you swarm better equipped American troops with tons of NPC allies?

Is it me or does the framerate suck real bad?

Not just you the frame-rate looked terrible to me.  I feel sorry for the soldiers training on this game.  Frame rate is very important for shooters.  Hopefully, they realize that real life is faster than 15 frames per second.

It could be due to the recording device, you never know.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Let's just hope that is the case.  It doesn't do the game too much justice the way the youtube video looked.  The graphics looked alright but I just couldn't get past how choppy the game looked.  I supsect you might be right because it wouldn't make sense for them to have this as a training tool with such a low frame rate.

Fair enough.  In the spirit of role reversal I might make this the first game I pirate.

You sir win this thread.

We won Vietnam. We just withdrew prematurely. :(

I'm curious, what english phrases would the americans in this game be shouting out...I still love hearing middle easterns scream out "GRANADA!!!!!!!"

No no no! The middle easterns shout 'Kunbula yedaweeya!' which gave me a HUGE advantage in MW1

The Fall of Saigon marked the end. That, and the amount of casualties resulting from the guerrilla warfare.

One could argue semantics in many cases (Battle of Bunker Hill, Arab-Israel war). But at the end of the day, it's about who achieves their goal.

Sorry man, every dog has its day, but Vietnam wasn't one of them.

It is hard to pinpoint the victor in that war, but I would still side with the US as the victor solely based on the fact that while we were there, SV was maintained and that the Vietnamese casualties were so much greater than the US. Regardless, I still have conflicting feelings about who was in the wrong, because as much as I hate communism, I hate rigged elections. At least Vietnam has peace now, unlike Korea...
