Sounds like a good idea.  Repeatedly use of Wii2, including the registration of Wii2 domain by someone, shows people couldn't wait.  At least Cafe is floating about now.

As far as a name goes?  Stream was also floated about, which will then lead to Streamcast popping up.

Anyway, Dreamcast wasn't too early, it was too late. After Saturn flopped, Sega should have rushed to get a new console out quickly like they normally would have.

Dreamcast could have been a much bigger hit if it had launched with lower specs in 1997. All it would have required to be would be an N64 without the bottlenecks; in other words an N64 with more RAM and a CD drive.

 

Did the NES launch too early in 1983? Did the PSX launch too early in 1994? No, they didn't; they launched at appropriate times, and dominated their respective generations.

 I hope you aren't indirectly trying to say the Cafe will be 'DreamCasted.'

If you are not, then no. That's not a good name.

If you are, you'd just be another   person who is hopelessly ignorant on the reasons why DC really failed.

In all honesty, we have no idea what the controller is, or when it's released, or the price, or the games...nothing. You're just basing this assumption on something that makes it fit into this niche of how Nintendo will fail. People need to grow up and get real.
