No, it's pretty much the last final class where no one does anything, and I'm not sure how the system on USA works, but it's not as easy to miss the class, it could actually cost me (even if it's just a useless day to just fool around)

How would it cost you? Here in Canada attendance is only a small percentage of your grade. Exam's make up a huge hunk and assignments make up a huge hunk and so fourth. But attendance while being part of your grade really doesn't make up much of the grade as it shouldn't.

So if you have no big assignments due and their is no essay then skipping the class does very little. Of course the school might phone your home to ask why you didn't attend. But in the end missing one class wouldn't kill your grades at least not in Canada.

What are the consequences to missing one class where you live?

Well, for starters if I leave mid-class it's a "grave fault", they call my parents (who kill me, I'm 15 ) and there's that ugly R in my report card.

Not going to class is TOTALLY not an option.

You said if you leave mid class what about skipping? If I were you I would go to your schools computer lab or library and watch it at school. Then if your mom or dad gets pissed say you decided to study in the Library or computer lab to ensure all your assignments get done on time. If they don't believe you you can tell them to talk to the librarian who will verify you were in the library.

Also what is an R on the report card? Are you telling me you missing one class actually effects the grade on the report card? Man your education system must suck, in Canada you can miss a certain amount of classes before you fail, but your grade is mainly based on your work not your attendance so if you can get all your work done and get good grades on it then you can miss quite a few classes.

I believe in Canada you can miss 32-classes a year or something like that. Of course the school does often call home if you miss a whole day. But if you miss one class they don't even do that to my knowledge. I had great grades and I skipped almost my full 32 classes in one year.

I never bother sitting through them. Don't see the point.

The announcements is all that really matters, so I just watch the clips of the games afterwards.

I'm with you. I tend to read/watch the highlights afterwards. Most of the show is boring, to me, anyways.

I am supposed to go to work on the 7th... supposed...

I won't see any of them.

Not that I mind, though. I'll take downing intoxicating substances on a beach in México over bickering on message boards about who had the best E3 presentation any day of the week.

Have fun.

I'll be able to see Nintendo's but considering it's about the same time as the start of my A2 exams, they might not be too happy with me doing so

I'm going on holidays to the Canary Islands on the 9th, but by then I hope to have seen everything that I care about.

Anyone here got the UK times for the 3 shows?

I usually watch all 3 of the big shows...

Nintendo:

June 7th, 2011

9am PDT = 5pm GMT

Microsoft:

June 6th, 2011

9am PDT - 5pm GMT

SONY:

June 6th, 2011

5pm PDT = 1am GMT

So basically, when I come home from school, have something to eat and turn my PC on, both Microsoft's and Nintendo's E3 conferences will be waiting for me.

SONY's will be at 1am, when I have school in the morning, so I will probably end up going to bed at 3am if I decide to watch it.

The timing for Nintendo and Microsoft's conferences are perfect, why couldn't SONY's be a little earlier or something? That is the conference I'm most excited for. Depending on what lessons I have the next day, I will probably stay up to watch it.

Thanks.

I'll be able to watch part of Ninty's and MS's... All of Sony's.

The times it starts for me is when I'm in school and I could miss it but its not worth it I'll just watch a recording of it I'm pretty sure nintendo will have one like last year on their website
