I'm so glad Playstation fans are worrying about the amount of games we have to play :)

It's cute how they think we care

It's not too surprising. Microsoft has to focus on Kinect, or else it runs the risk of falling into obscurity. Ever since the device launched, it became a significant part of the console's future. If it fails, it would likely signal the end of the generation for Microsoft. The boost the console has received in the months since Kinect releases have been based both on titles available and also largely on titles yet to come. Everyone seems to have their own vision of what Kinect could be and are waiting for Microsoft to deliver, so they really don't have a choice but to try.

Falling into obscurity? The 360 has been doing pretty damn years before the Kinect launched and sales were not on a decline. The only console that was falling into obscurity was PS3 thanks to high prices. Sony chose to sacrifice billions of dollars to keep the Playstation brand relevant by giving PS3 massive price cuts. With that said, MS could easily boost console sales by cutting prices as well but they are choosing to make significantly higher profits instead. 360 is almost in the black, PS3 on the otherhand will never get there.

Now in regards to, "Microsoft has to focus on Kinect." The Kinect primarily gave the 360 a boost in the casual market. Which is something Sony attempted to do with Move and it flat out failed. It would be stupid for MS not to put some focus on Kinect, the demand has been simply amazing.

lol what?

that is all

I like the sound of that. As long as they have a decent amount of "Core" games all be happy. I just don't want to regret buying Kinect.

I don't understand why people get all pissed because MS is supporting their new hardware. What do you expect them to do? Sit there twiddling their thumbs? Com'on people, please think before you say anything.

First of all, I was referring to Kinect falling into obscurity, not the 360. Secondly, Microsoft has to focus on Kinect BECAUSE of the great positive reception. They took a great risk and it paid off, therefore, they simply can't allow the device to fail by not devoting a lot of attention to it. Thirdly, it not for Kinect, the 360 sales worldwide would in fact have been on a decline. Please don't try to turn this into something it's not.

Ah, I see, I must have been mistaken by your over exaggeration on the importance of Kinect.

Supporting Kinect just logical given its sales and to bring in a casual audience. But I don't think its as crucial as you make it out to be.

I highly doubt the 360 would be on decline without Kinect. It can't be fact unless you have proof and you don't. It definitely boosted sales though. Thus allowing MS to delay price cuts to stimulate sales.
