yeah, all 3 songs are duds, I think that she's just trying to hard to be controversial. I like her first album, the songs are just fun and catchy, instead of trying so hard to make some sort of statement.

Yeah, this Edge of Glory song gives me an appreciation for her older stuff, and her older stuff gave me an appreciation for Madonna.

Born this way is a good song, great lyrics and it's actually very energitic. It was a cool surprise. Music video is crap, as usual.

Judas is meh and RedOne songs are usually better than this.

I dislike Gaga, but I can understand why songs like Just Dance, Bad Romance, Love Game, ect were very popular. They were very catchy, and had an unbelievable fusion of dance, techno, pop and rock infused in them. These songs totally destroyed that good formula, and derided it into far too simplistic songs that are pure trash.

*edit* and YT agrees with me. Here's the ratio of likes to dislikes for every GaGa video by Vevo (higher percentage = more dislikes):

  • Born This Way - 34.1%
  • Judas - 28.2%
  • Bad Romance - 21.2%
  • Telephone - 15.9%
  • Poker Face - 9.4%
  • LoveGame - 7.7%
  • Just Dance - 7.5%

    • Mind you, all of these songs have ~100 million views or more, so its not a lack of obscurity by the earlier releases.
