TWISTED METAL, Ratchet & Clank, Jak, Killzone, Resistance, Infamous, LittleBigPlanet, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, Sly, MAG, SOCOM, Heavy Rain, GOD OF WAR. Just some that I can think of. GOD OF WAR deserves so much more attention. Its such a masterpiece! You guys can name more for my list.

Hmm... for me, it's more some companies that deserve more attention. And I'd say there are 3 companies that fit that bill: Atlus, NIS, and XSeed. Many of their games are hidden gems that nobody hears about due to their limited resources for distribution.

Big ups to everone that said Enslaved (I'm the only one that says "Big Ups" these days.  I woke up one morning with a bunch of big ups on my doorstep.  I've been giving them away to anybody that will take them.).  It's a great game.

You sir are the paragon of manliness and awesome :)

All I will say is that you will not regret the purchase. Oh and good luck online, its VERY competitive, so be sure to train hard.

I'm a big fan of games like crimson skies. The story in the game I'll admit makes little sense unless you watch the movie first, which I did. Graphics for the most part are good and music is superb and really gets the blood flowing! I know a lot of people hated the controls but I play on expert controls and it actually reminds me of flying a real plane, which is to say there is a learning curve but it's well worth it. For those not convinced you can also use regular analog controls or the GC controller. Also dog-fighting in this game is pure arcade bliss! I only wish there was some form of multi-player but the game is really cheap now anyway so it's totally worth it if you ask me. imo anyone who loved the Rogue Squadron games on GC will get a kick out of this.

Also, a word of warning: the default controls rely on the accelerometer in the nunchuck, and I know from experience sometimes they are busted. Game plays great on one of my nunchucks but is unplayable on the other so before you blame the controls, try switching to a different nunchuck.

Meh, I've seen guys who have gone much far than that...(both in resistence and evilry).
