Why would you separate the UK from the rest of Europe,  that doesnt make any sense.  Would have given you one more option to add.

Im from USA by the way

Because it'll be a cold day in hell before I classify myself as European... and I think I share the same views as many, many Brits on this matter.

Dude can you tone it down a little plz. i dont want anyone bieng or even hinting at bieng racist on this thread. Im a brit and i think most people think like that but can you just choose your words carefully? Thanks (please dont take this as an badly just your post sounds a little like flaming)

Racist? Far from it. There is no "European" race. If I were French, German, Italian, or whatever, I'd say the exact same thing. The "European nationality" is a product of a load of pathetic politicians in Brussels.

Amen to that. Just sounded like you were putting the rest of europe down thats all.

Wait... does this mean im not human?

From the USA. If I would like to visit somewhere, it would be the UK or Japan.

In his defense, I too wouldn't want to be associated with the continent that houses Romania ;_;

As if any continent would want to be associated with you.

I approve wholeheartedly of the fact that "British" and "European" are separate options. In case it wasn't obvious from that comment, I'm British.

On a somewhat related note, UKIP 2014!

EDIT: This comment in no way implies any dislike of Europeans, but rather an intense dislike of the European Union and its money grabbing bureaucrats and dictators.

So was the "British nationality" at one point.

My passport says Spanish. But I feel Basque. Though I live in the UK now. However, I'm moving to Japan soon.

That's not a country. Get over it.

It IS a country. It is actually called the Basque Country, that's its name, and even Spanish people call it that. What it is not is a state. So it's a country without a state, which sucks. We have a small degree of independence, but we belong to the Spanish state.

Anyway, I was explaining what I feel, that's it. When Spain won the world cup, for example, I felt absolutely nothing. I actually booked a flight that was flying during the final and missed the match, because I couln't care less. I don't hate Spain and didn't root for Holland, but I just don't feel I'm Spanish at all.

But I don't like talking about these things so much, so I'll stop now.

It's not a country. It's a region in Spain. Let go of these separatist tendencies.

I'm British, English to be precise.  I'm also 1/4 Indian, and also apparently have some Burmese in my several generation back
