I think its because of the british empire and all the wars that have happened in the past. Also the fact britian is an island and therefore seperated from the mainland europe. We have a different currency as well and i guess because the UK is classed as a super power they we feel maybe we are a continent in our own right (like america). We dont really hear much about the rest of europe in the news etc so we may be in a way disconnected from the rest of europe in that sence. I think we on whole feel too proud and we feel the upperclass of europe and therefore they arent worthy to associate with us. In my opinion Britians class system is one of its greatest weakness as it seperates us from the rest of the world as well as create divisions internally. D:

Racist? Far from it. There is no "European" race. If I were French, German, Italian, or whatever, I'd say the exact same thing. The "European nationality" is a product of a load of pathetic politicians in Brussels.

"European" just signals a whole load of politics that I don't want to be associated with.
