@Sapphi Snake. You do realise there are also non-violent Basque seperatists? They have a very different identity than the Castillians.

... So, i saw this as I was scrolling up after from replying to the above chart.

Given enough time... I think every thread would break down to an arguement about politics or religion.

Man, I really don't have a specific nationality, I have lived as long all over Europe as I have lived all over in the US.

P.S. The Basque Country is not  country, it just happens to be a regino whose name has the word "country" in it. Same as Catalunia and Galicia.

Where were you born? What nationality did your parents have?

That's not exactly what nationality is. Nationality is something you identify with and consider your own nation. Plenty of Europeans can be of American nationality, in fact some immigrants are more nationalistic than some natural born Americans.

As it stands any country I have been in has its down falls and upsides, in some one outweight the other. I only put myself as European because I find that Europeans have far, FAR, more practical culture than Americans. For example, Why the hell do I have to shower if I never left my house for 3 straight days due to finals? Americans will be shocked, even when I show them beyond any reasonable doubt what a downright retarded idea that is. Most Europeans will agree with me.

You're right about the whole "nation" thing. Must be weird to not identify with any nation. Do you feel all empty inside?

As for the bolded, WTF dude???!!! That's just gross. What Europeans have you been talking to? The French?

As for the shower thing. You do realize that it is highly impractical? Unless you shower with antibacterial soap (which you should not do under any circumstance) then you barely wash off the bacteria sticking to you, and the rest ends up travelling all over your body. So you end up with bacterial from your foot on your chest. Furthermore showering where you scrub and use soap, is extremely damaging to your skin. Lastly, the reason you do shower is to get any dirt you brought from the outside off you so it doesn't stick to your home. If you never left home the purpose is gone. That is also another retarded thing Americans do wrong, they shower in the morning, not when they come home for the day, completely defeating the point of showering.

lol it's not an American thing. In Scandinavia we shower every day. And the vast majority prefers to do it in the morning (hint: you might not want to smell bad at work). If you don't shower every day you are considered pretty much being a filthy person here.

Is this a common Romanian habit not to shower very often? (if anyone wonders, Vlad is originally from Romania)

You know, you could just ask an actual Romanian person. There are such individuals on this boards (HINT: Me!!!).

They may be non-violent NOW, but a separatist is a separatist, and the fact of the matter is that some of them have formed a terrorist groupv that kills innocent people and demands that Spain give up territories that belong to it. Separatst attitudes are dangerous.

The same could be said for collectivist attitudes.

I'd say there have likely been more wars waged on the principle of uniting then the principal of dividing.

Aside from which, if a majority of an area wants too... why should a group of people be forced to assositate with other groups they do not wish to?

So I take it you're also against Tibet being an independent nation? It is, afterall, essentially the same sort of idea.

We all know Jackie Chan is against it.

Come to think of it... I wonder whatever happened to that OTHER Romanian poster that was around before Sapphi that was always complainging that things were better under the USSR and he wished the USSR would reform because things were better if you kept your head down, and it was better to be a lower part of something huge, then be on top of a small nation.

Yes, just like Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA or UCK) in Balkans
