Metro: Last Light title confirmed

THQ has confirmed the upcoming sequel to 4A Games’ Metro 2033 will be called Metro: Last Light.

CEO Brian Farrell made the announcement during the publisher’s FY 2011 final quarter financials.

The sequel’s title was dug up a few weeks ago thanks to domain registrations.

The company has vowed to provide greater support for the upcoming game, after a releatively quiet launch for the March 2010 original.

The fledgling dystopian series is based on the novel by Dmitry Glukhovsky. No release date as yet, but we’re expecting it within the next financial year or two.

For ps3 this time around, or pc/360 release again?

Possibly PS3 but not certain ATM aparently

 

Can't wait for more metro the first game had it's flaws but it was a great game.

sounds great, the original was one of the best games of last year, althoguh i think the title would sound better being metro 2034 which was what the book was

I have been interested in this game since seeing a few gameplay videos but cant find it anywhere other than Amazon but its still $40 there for the 360 version.  Steam does have the have it for $20 and I do have a PC that will run it like a champ so maybe I will get it there
