Forums - Nintendo - (Rumor) Nintendo new Wii bundle dropping Wii Sports for

I really hope there is more to that selection than those four titles... Other than Super Sluggers I already own all those games. Surely Nintendo could add some more to that list, or at least get some third party games on it too...

me am disappoint.

edit: Awesome pic alfredo!!

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

This could help the Wii until the holidays come along.

So, the Wii will now bundle with WSR and MKWii? Maybe a good way to increase the WMPlus usage?

If they bundle WSR too it could be an excellent idea, as Xmas MK bundle included instead WS and MK, but not WSR like the other bundles Ninty offered then. But if the new bundle includes just MK and nothing else, it would be a terrible idea, price drop with value drop, so no value for money increase at all. BTW WSR needs to be pushed more, Ninty and MS overlooking the high precision motion control market segment basically would leave it almost completely to Move without having to fight for it, if just Sony were smart enough and fully exploited the opportunity.

Well I don't approve of dropping Wii Sports, as it's a killer app, but I would like to finally be able to get Brawl. And I could try the Wii version of TP.

Dropping Wii Sports out of the Wii package but replacing it with MKWii?

Am I the only person here who doesn't see the logic in this, and doesn't see why they don't just bundle MK Wii in with the usual Wii Sports bundle?

It also doesn't make sense to me.

What does make sense however, is that she never stops shaking those jugs

Well, MarioKart has more cross appeal than Wii Sports as both casual and core will play it.

Glad to see Nintendo finally introducing a budget line of notable games.  May pick a couple up myself.

But it would be better to have both. Wii Sports still has broader appeal, as sales in Japan of both games show.

So, it's Player's Choice on the Wii?

Rightfully so, laddy!

Good idea, should shift some more units...

But I don't see WS selling if it's sold seperately really. It's a darn shame. But $149 with MKWii? Who wouldn't want that?
