I'm aware half Kinect and Move sales will be 360 and PS3 owners, this isn't an analysis of ANY kind, just a fun thread to see what people think lifetimes will be for those 3.

Anyway I reckon

360 (90) Kinect (30)
PS3 (95) Move (25)
Wii (120)

So a statistical tie.

And no I'm not adding balance boards or Wii motion plus, what's the point? It'll be a foregone conclusion then.

90 million 36os? I doubt it.

95 million ps3s? I doubt it.

120 million Wiis? I doubt it.

30 million kinects? I doubt it.

25 million moves? I doubt it.

I will say...

PS3 - 92 million, Move - 20 million

Sony total - 112 million

360 - 88 million, Kinect - 28 million

MicroSoft total - 116 million

Wii - 115 million

And to explain my answers

PS3 - PS3 is showing great legs and doesn't look to be stopping anytime soon, in the end PS3 will pass 360 by a negligable 4 million, But PS3 will ultimately fall short of its predecessors PSOne, and PS2. Will become the best selling 2nd place console of all time.

360 - 360 will also show some great legs, Kinect will help push 360 on but will not be the deciding factor against PS3. Shows great improvement over its predecessor the original Xbox. Will become the best selling 3rd place console of all time.

Wii - Wii has been a tremendous success, this will be Nintendo's best selling console to date(excluding handhelds). Although I feel that with sales slowing down and Project Cafe being pushed out as soon as 2012, it won't do as much as first expected, though will be a great success nonetheless.

7th Generaton will become best selling home console generation.

Wii = 115m

360 = 85m plus Kinect = 25m.  Total 110m

PS3 = 93m plus Move = 12m.  Total 105m

If you had to just pick a winner,  which would you choose, out of interest? I say 360 ad Kinect, but only by 1-2mil...
