Would rather just play the PS2 version, If I could ever find a copy anywhere, considering it is a better version and I don't want to buy a 3ds. This is great news though, and not only for people would wanted it localised but for the series aswell. We got an "Enhanced Port" of a Tales game... my god I'd never thought I'd ever see the day that happened. Can I haz ToV PS3 now1?

How is the ps3 version a better version? the only thing that seems different are the character models.

PS2 Version. I just think playing the game with a controller in hand and on a big screen would be better, plus the better graphics. I will admit the framerate thing is good since ToA had some bad frames per second but I really don't think a framerate boost is enough to justify a better version. Your getting the same game on a smaller screen with worse controls, there doesn't seem to be 4 player co-op which is a big feature of the series. I have yet to play either version of the game so my points are pretty much invalid, but from what I've seen and heard of both versions the PS2 version still seems to be better. Plus you can't do the world map glitch to get Asch in your party, not that it's a bad thing they removed a glitch from the game.

Yeah, I'd love to buy this game, to support Scamco, and considering it's the only way to actually get a copy of this masterpiece without paying an arm and a leg and your first born child on Ebay for the PS2 version. But I won't buy something that I will never use, I do not plan on getting a 3ds, even if just for this game.

More good games comes to 3DS. This game with MGS3D is my reason to buy 3DS in the first place. So glad to hear that it will localized....

Yea i know and if you try to get it used of amazon it never comes with the case or manual. And yea if your only gonna use the 3ds for abyss you may as well get the ps2 version if you find it lol.

We got a video

Hopefully Europe will get it unlike the PS2 version.  Well, this is Scamco we are talking about.

It better, the 3DS isn't region free...
