Considering Nintendo was one of the pioneers of networking and downloadable content with their NES and SNES modem add-ons in Japan, it's a wonder that they haven't come up with a compelling online network to compete with XBL and PSN or something similar, and how they've effectively remained a generation behind the competition since Sega first started their online services for the Saturn and Dreamcast.
This for me is the biggest question mark surrounding their "next-gen" system... supposedly being more powerful than the 360/PS3 is all well and good, but if it's not connected to an online network and community that is at least as robust and feature-rich as XBL/PSN, then what's the point? It would be like owning a Ferrari... with no roads to drive it on!

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
