There's a trick for this, too. Turbo charged starts ftw.

Daredevil Bouldergeist, Purple Coins on Luigi and the blow up garbage on Dreadnought Galaxy. I didn't notice the yellow marks on the floor but I figured it out anyway :)

Dreadnought Purple Coins.

Because if you fail, you need to kill yourself now. Or you can wait for the ride to end and watch someone say "Oh, only 99 coins? Maybe you should just kill yourself." ARGHHHH

The other challenges have a fast retry time. Like Luigi's Purple Coins. OK, you fell RESTART. OK, quicksand RESTART. No waiting, no effort required to restart. The Daredevils have an even faster restart time: Ow, paper cut RESTART.

There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.

probably the ones I had the most trouble with were the ball rolling trial galaxy, and the dreadnought purple coins. I found bouldergeist incredibly easy, I got both the regular star and the daredevil star the first time I fought him.

I usually suck at games (except RTS) but all the stars y'all keep mentioning (blow up garbage, bouldergeist) I found to be rather easy. This is so very strange.

Of course, I haven't gotten to the purple coins yet.

The only stars I've had trouble with so far are the "?" stars, because I never know whether they involve Luigi or not. Sometimes I go into one of the levels with the "?" and just wander around for half an hour, eventually just giving up, only to find out later on that I just had to wait for Luigi to get stranded on the damn level, lol.
