While I agree that he isn't as interesting overall as Stevie is as a vocalist, I think the quote was directed to the notion that he has the potential of that level.

Along those similar lines anyone here enjoy John Legend?

I listen to a wide range of music so right now I am on Pendulum, Cake, Asian kung fu generation, timbaland and T.I. ( I was kinda enjoying some earth wind and fire last night though.)

I've never heard of him StaticNeuron ( John Legend. ) I'll give him a listen.

I too have a very eclectic taste in music and I tend to bounce all over the map.

Wow, nice to see so many people with wide taste.

John Legend... Why haven't I listened to more by him? LOVE his latest single...

Sorta, kinda along these lines... If you haven't heard her, I gotta recommend Erykah Badu... Listen to Baduizm...

TI's album from last year was great. He has really developed into quite a talent, compared to the stuff he put out early in his career...

Beastie Boys - Bobo on the Corner

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Savior

De La Soul - The Magic Number

Outkast- Hold on, Be Strong

Afrika Bambaataa - Zulu Nation Throwdown (Cosmic Force)

Delirous? - Lead Me

The Flaming Lips - All We Have is Now

So I just discovered Love's Forever Changes...

!!! Incredible album! Some tracks are stronger than others, but the first track (Alone Again Or) and the last track (You Set the Scene) in particular are awesome. And the extras on the CD are pretty cool too.

Randomly listening to some Marvin atm...
