I think most said more powerful. But as devs are just now getting it, it may be awhile before its true power capabilities are determined.

Nintendo will want to be about 3-4x more powerful in order to be adequately prepared for eventual next gen xbox/ps.

the question is how many of those 3rd party title will be exclusive or multiplat.

I'm guessing most of those will be multiplat and as a result might not fully demonstrate what the Wii2 is capable of.



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

It all sounds good and exciting, but the whole Skyward Sword thing...does that mean it will be over a YEAR until we see it? I hope not...

That comment basing it on the Pokemon line makes me wonder if it's just lifted from that, not any sources.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

At any rate, I certainly hope so! Without it I'll be very upset with no game to buy over September-November, well, aside from Xenoblade of course...

Well it's minimum power will be PS360 level, so the easy thing to do for devs will be to take those games

But I think we all know that Sony and M$ will blow Nintendo out of the water in terms of power

"Nintendo is thinking about launching Zelda: Skyward Sword around the same time as Wii 2 since Wii 2 is backwards compatible with Wii 1 games.  They want to follow the same strategy when they launched Pokemon Black/White when 3DS was coming out."

That makes me think she's just surmising and passing that off as sources.

Yeah, that does seem a bit too similar...

The only source I'll trust is either Reggie, Iwata or Miyamoto. Until I hear something from them about it it's all just a big scrambled mess of maybe-truth and people cashing in on people's excitment I reckon.
