Only thing I don't like about Valve I don't like is the years of lulzing at the ps3 and then out of nowhere doing a 180, looks a tad odd but oh well, I loved Portal and would love to play Portal 2.

Well, Activision sabatoged the PS3 version of Black Ops, so I guess we are even.

In what way?
I think people are ignoring the pink elephant in the room, PC download of Portal 2 is over 10GB, 360 disc (unless that new higher cap disc has gone to retail now) is limited to little over 6GB, Blu-ray discs lack this restriction, if they don't have to compress data as much on a blu-ray disc as they do for 360, of course the PS3 version is going to look better. Valve doesn't favor one over the other it's just this specific game is easier to port to one over the other.

The PS3 version was extremely laggy and glitchy, while the 360 version wasn't. See the Call of Duty forums for proof.

thats like sooooo 1998

They were doing what the Xbox people are doing right now. Complaining on the forums. Most of the blame was placed on learning the PS3 architecture not necessarily on the effort put into the games. Valve has plenty of experience working on the Xbox, so it is not the same case.
OT:
The PS3 package is a better value, as it includes a copy for the PC (& Mac?). Don't know why they didn't just include a steam code with the Xbox version as well. It would help them as well, since people would need to install steam on their PCs to get the game.
Valve is not known for graphical prowess; but they clearly worked harder on the PS3 version. Maybe to make up for Orange Box and neglecting the PS3 the past few years? Sabotage may not be correct; perhaps they neglected to place the effort into the Xbox version as well. I do not know why they would do this though, the only ones this really affects is the consumer.
I'm sure most people who buy and play this game will not care about any of this (as the Xbox 360 version will probably sell more). The vocal minority will complain, and it will be used for more pointless fanboy arguments; however, it really doesn't matter that much.
@iamawesome are we talking SP or MP?? cause i have never had a problem with either
