I'm an American and I hate Microsoft with a passion, so I guess that makes me European?

 

Anways, I have a good reason. It's been my experience that most, if not all, Windows based PC's are more problematic than American politics. I'd be damned if I'm the only one who realizes  that Windows is a horrible operating system and only matters to PC gamers. I have a PS3 and a Wii for games, so Windows is not practical. I'm a mac guy, if you really want to know. 

Now, lets look at the logic here. Why would I buy hardware from a software company that isn't even good at making software? I think Europeans and Japanese gamers have it right when a lot of them shun the 360--especially with the RROD epidemic.   

 I also think the fact that most of the acclaimed games on the 360 are military based shooters is what holds it back in others and Japan. That just adds on top of the fat-ass, hamburger eatin', gass guzzlin', truck nation.

Thing is Europe has been "good" since WW2 while the USA has been the ass of the world. It's the present that matters not the past and in the present the USA is the one causing crap worldwide. Beyond simply causing wars the usa being the foremost christain and hyporitical nation with its media obsession andsky high porn viewer and cheating rates, one of the educationally dumbest countries and sly countries in the world (cia anyone) doesn't help either. It;s the present that matters not the past. Had I lived in 1944 I'd hate europe too but right now it's 2007.

Wow to think Europe is messing up the world now is stupid to think of. Examples the explotation still of africa. The discrimination agaisnt muslims in many european countries. The over representation of European countries in world bodies. The tariffs that they use harm poorer countries. The rascism that exists in europe. There are still things Europe is doing that harms the world. Im not sayin the usa is perfect either but all countries are self interested and all are harming the world at large, mostly the poor countries.

Xbox not helped by it's "ethnicity"? No. But the Xbox 360 is not helped by: * The never before seen hardware failure problems * The disc scratching/destroying drives * The absurdly loud 12x DVD drive * The 50 dollar a year online charges that end up adding 250 dollars to the price of the console over 5 years * The gimped smaller than last gen 7 gig DVD drive * The lack of dedicated servers for online games * The shockingly bad game graphics with Halo 3,Forza 2, PGR3,Mass Effect... * The lack a library of games the 125+ million PS2 and 23 million GameCube owners bought their systems for last gen like: Final Fantasy,Metal Gear Solid, Mario, Zelda, Gran Turismo, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxster, Team ICO, SOCOM, Killzone, Singstar, etc.

The OP's opinion is so laughably flawed.

Youre right that there's a disliking to Microsoft for some of it's methods here in Europe... but if you REALLY believe it spreads its roots to portraying the europeans to be stupid just because they don't choose to buy the console of your preference, then you got to be much more ignorant than those europeans youre talking about.

Don't let fools trick you. Ethnicity has nothing to do with it in Europe but rather a very strong sony brand built upon billions of marketing dollars (which btw, I have nothing against).
