Singleplayer in the first one was nothing noteworthy, but despite all of the horrible bugs, i got quite hooked on the online

That being said, i'll get it day one, tear through singleplayer as a primer for how to use all the weapons and stuff, then get online

I already pre-ordered it.  I enjoyed the first one and like playing fps with the pointer controls.  The online options sound pretty robust and the art looks improved.  I was hoping to get the limited edition with the bonus extras that are listed on GameStop's website, but the employees said their systems didn't have it listed.  Anyone else have this issue when preordering?

Anyway, it looks cool and I'm sure I'll enjoy it regardless of whether I get the limited edition or not.  Gotta have my new fix since I've played Goldeneye to death!

The first one was fun. I enjoyed it a lot more than Prime 3, the controls were better. It wasn't perfect, it was repetitive and the graphics looked ugly, but if those are fixed I'd totally buy it.

I got the limited edition of the 1st one 2 years back. At that time I didn't know what people were complaining about so much, because I only had a Wii as my main console (lol ok I was a kid back then), but then I got the 360 on my 18th birthday, played Halo and my jaw literally dropped from all the awesomeness. Finally realised what people were comparing Conduit to.

That said, I don't think the 1st one was bad, it was, now that I look back at it; very mediocre. If the online latency and lag issues weren't there, I would have even classified it as "good". In regards to that, its just hard for me to get the sequel given that there are so many friggin great games that are coming out/have already come out that I need to catch up on. Perhaps someday if I find Conduit 2 at a bargain, I might grab it since I bought the Wii motion plus, but never really got to try it, hopefully it actually makes a difference in the gameplay.

I'll get it sooner or later. It looks fun, in spite of (or perhaps because of?) the terrible dialog. It seems to have preserved the successes of the original (diverse, creative weapons and control tweaking) while fixing a lot of weaknesses, like level design and sluggish online.

This basically, the first game would have been really awesome design wise during the N64 days, it felt like a Rare FPS in fact, but by todays standards it was a bit dated in a few areas, I like that style of course, keep the style just update it and I'll give it a go.

I'm surprised so many of you wish to get this game!

In a good way, of course

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I might pick it up somewhere down the line after a price drop.

The first one was decent, and nothing more.

This game might flop hard so ill check it when the price drops. Im still playing GE and to be honest. Eurocom craps all over HVS, so im 99% sure that GE is just a better game and reading the reviews i think i might be right. Not to mention I still play BLOPs every now and then. Started playing MOH again and am now playing KZ3 with Move( best use of motion control in a FPS not called Red Steel 2) I just dont need another FPS right now, and definately not a mediocore one. Still gotta ge Crysis 2 eventually

I'm gonna pick it up. I got the pre-order for free so I might as well.
