OK Xen, sorry about that, erase the last sentence. It's just that... I'm growing tired of reading this absurd requirements so that you can be "taken seriously" or look like a hardcore. Some gamers think that playing FPSs is being hardcore, and if you play Kirby or Mario, you're just casual.

Let's make things clear: just because you play older consoles, PC, a Nintendo - Sony - Sega - MS console. or you own all of those consoles, it doesn't qualify you as anything. I know a lot of hardcore gamers that can buy few games per year, and they play them a lot til they get everything out of those games, and a lot of "hardcore" gamers that have a lot of consoles, a gazillion games on each one of them, and have completed less than 10% of the games they have... That's collectionism...

As long as you have PC, no consoles are needed.

But for the true console gamers these are essential:

1. Xbox  (memorable play times with the like of KOTOR  1&2, Fable, Jade Empire, Elder Scrolls)

2. Xbox 360

3. PS3

Original "Monochrome" GameBoy

Sega Genesis

All three were revolutionary and have countless classics that are still worth playing today.

Wii (Same, but with VC you can access loads of other consoles)
