I like the 3DS lineup. Nearly jizzed myself when I saw Cave Story 3D.

1. You think the money for hardware development and the money for game developmet are magically separate? That is what that comment implied. If they are spending money on a major system, they will have less money at the time for some of their games.
2. You're using metacritic to judge the money Nintendo is making. Reviews are NOT SALES.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

No, he is looking at how terrible the Q1 lineup was, there is just no excuse, Q2 is even more horrible than Q1, I even wonder why Nintendo released that list, it was just to embarass themselves.

this -- and if all the nintendo fans on this site are correct - wii/ds/3DS games are significantly less costly (i.e. take less people) to make then ps3/psp/NGP therefore nintendo ought to be able to exceed the number of first party games that sony can make.

1. I didn't meant money, I meant studios as a resource - They have plenty of studios yet none of them had/have anything good come out on Wii in over six months - Aren't you curious at all regarding this?
2. No, I was using metacritic to judge the amount of games Nintendo has released recently (=one below average game) - The list stops at 50%, that means this "top 25" list had to stops at 6 - wow
(I wouldn't normally use meta, but given that the list contains scores all the way down to 50% I thought it would suffice)
And it's not like that one game was even developed by them anyway, they only published it

I admit, the Wii line-up is bad... but your statement is even more flawed.
Sony games cost more than Nintendo's? Maybe. Less work? No.
And Nintendo and Sony's first party has actually been pretty much on par this gen, only Sony has a better second party and much better third party, and Nintendo just doesn't know how to distribute games. They just throw it all to the end of the year.
More Mystery Case Files! I knew they were coming out with a second title, I was expecting it on the DS though.

Nintendo want people to save a bit of cash rather than spend far too much on games they will play and forget.
