In other words, nothing for Wii. I'm surprised...

Hey now, Final Fantasy VI and Megaman X should be arriving any day now!

Faster than DQX?

I make no promises,..

So, in other words, nothing for Wii.

Do what I'm going to do, and add homebrew to your Wii. Xenoblade waits for no Reggie!

I'm starting to think about it, seriously. Apart from Xenoblade, can I add The Last Story?

If you know Japanese, sure. But it hasn't been announced for localization anywhere in the West just yet.

EVERYONE THIS IS THE REAL REASON NINTENDO HASN'T BROUGHT OUT AS MANY GAMES AS SONY.

The reason that Nintendo doesn't bring out as many games as Sony is because they don't have as many studios. To add to that, all of Nintendo's 1st Party studios excluding Retro, HAL, and EAD3 are officially working on 3DS games. Sony has like 14 internal studios, and several second party affiliates. Of the 14 games Sony has planned, for release this year on PS3, 8 of them were developed by outside studios and not by SCE WWS.  They are all working on both the NGP and PS3. When you combine the force of the 3DS, coupled with Sony's massive Worldwide Studios group and external partners, Nintendo can't produce as many games as Sony in the same timeframe. This is why Sony puts more games out faster.

Nintendo has 26 First/Second party studios. They also have quite a few 3rd party semi-exclusive studios like Monster Games, Shine'en, etc.

Check them out here, I'm keeping the list up to date as best as I can. There really is no excuse for this drought. They are outsourcing everything. This only points out at a new console being unveiled very soon.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Sad state of affairs when PACMAN and GALAGA DIMENSIONS is the most exciting thing coming out. This really had better be leading up to something good or me and nintendo should stop dating. The thrill just aint there anymore.

(tbh I've been cheating on 'em for some time now anyway)

You're making some pretty big assumptions when you say this, such as that all the studios' projects will result in release (they don't), that none of them are involved in hardware/software R & D (some are), that they're not juggling four separate platforms (they are), and that studios don't temporarily combine to work on projects (they do).

More the to the point...Shin'en?! You do realize they're only two people, AND that they're nonetheless releasing new games pretty quickly (FAST is coming to WiiWare soon).

I said this in a similar thread, but I will put it here too for all to see:

I may be in the minority since this is a video game forum, but "droughts" have never bothered me before.  Hell, I didn't even notice them when I was a kid.  It is not going to bother me now, and likely not in the future either.  I still have unplayed games sitting in my collection, and I have even more on my wish list.

My suggestion to those of you who are disappointed: Go back and play the games you missed the past few years.  There are bound to be a few.  They will be cheap by now too.

3DS - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Trilogy) (2005/2014)
Mobile - Yugioh Duel Links (2017)
Mobile - Super Mario Run (2017)
PC - Borderlands 2 (2012)
PC - Deep Rock Galactic (2020)

Wii Play Motion?  0_o  When did this happen? That could be cool I suppose. The rest of the list just looks god awful. Looks like I'll be sticking to Mincraft and Black Ops for another few months.. Nothing wrong with that!

Plus, I still have Epic Mickey and Sin and Punishment sitting on my shelf unplayed, and Monster Hunter Tri barely played. So probably for the best.
