As a gamer it may be better for Batman: AC to release this year but from a business stand point won't it be better for Batman: AC to be release in summer 2012?

My thinking:

The next Batman Movie is due for 2012. It could basically be free marketing for both the movie and game- gamers would want to see a movie and movie watcher may want to play a batman game. D you think Warner has another game planned or is it just bcause the game and movie will have different story lines?

Well it looks like we are hitting the peak, that is why it might be a missed opportunity to not release it this year. 

Because 2011 is a clear spell for games, not much is releasing.

If all three consoles see a price cut, then releasing fall 2011 would be a great time to capitalize.

I like that its not releasing with the movie, sure its good advertisment, but to me thats not letting the two products stand on there own, Arkham City doesnt NEED to release with next years' movie, its that damn good. AA didnt need to do it. Dark Knight had no game tie-in either and look how that turned out.  IMHO releasing these 2 together would look to me like WB has little confindence in either
