Forums - Website Topics - After 3 years, Finally my account works

I have no idea why, but my account hasn't worked for about 3 years I believe?
I would log in and it just wouldn't log me in, even with my correct information...I tried doing a password reset, sending it to my email, no luck...but I decided I would use my alternate email address and create an account and it works!
Awhile ago I emailed VGChartz to let them know of the situation, but I never recieved a response?
The only reason I am posting this in case there are other people who might be in the situation I have been this whole time...There has been many times where I wanted to voice my opinion or support another users opinion but not being able to login prevented me from doing so :(
Well...if it helps I can provide my old Username and Email Address and perhaps an admin can figure out the problem, I don't really care anymore cause im here, but in case you want to try fixing it :)
Anyway, love the site, been here since the previous site design (This one is better :) )

maybe your computer was set to not accept cookies from the site? as a result it lost your login info as soon as you left the login page.

Still, i find it incredible that you stuck around for that long, and continued trying to log in after that long

lol :D Keyword 'About', been here 'about' 3 years...Not sure exactly when :/

As far as cookie go, I tried logging in thru 4 seperate computers/ip's/browsers... so it could not have been my side :(

I really wonder how many people are in my shoes :/ I mainly come to this site for the numbers of course, but once every few months i'll attempt to login with no luck, but i decided i was going to get this working, and a new email was a perfect solution

This particular address has only existed since March-ish [chartz.com]
before then it was charts.org I am not sure when it started as that address but i think it was about 14-15 months ago.
before that though ioi/Brett had another site doing the same kind of things, but i cannot remember the name nor how old it is.
