OT: Lens of Truth is total garbage.

I played both Crysis 2 and Killzone 3 both are great looking games but ultimately Crysis 2 stole the show. Not to mention all the environments in Killzone 3 are ugly and the entire game has hardly any color.

Hell! Gears of War 2 has more color than Killzone 3 has...and that game is almost nothing but brown and gray.

I was just more wowed by Crysis 2... whether you agree with me or disagree...one thing we can all agree on is that Crysis 2 and Killzone 3 are great looking games in their own right.

Not sure what  version you played but those issues you had with Crysis 2 don`t seem to be anywhere on my X360 copy.

....and that runs at upto 60fps.

if it were allowed a mediocre frame rate like crysis, it would annihilate it in screen shots as well.

Does it really matter? A good game is based more around gameplay the graphics anyway, and the differences between the big budget PS360 games are so minute, because so many of them use the same, or similar, engine...

I'm sorry to call you out, but your not telling the full truth. I played the 360 version and it has to be one of the most technically flawed games I've played this generation. I made a thread about it, you should probably read it. 

Crysis 2 is a great game, but it will never be the best looking game. Anything with a framerate that plummets, pop in that appears at every turn, has a sub-HD resolution, ugly character models and ridiculous bugs, can't be the best looking game on consoles.

I had all these issues with the game and Digital Foundry and LOT can back up my claims with their own expert analysis. You may have had less trouble, but having none is impossible.

@Selnor. Your also grossly overestating how large the environments are, which usuaully flactuates between extremely linear and a small sanbox with a few different paths to reach the same objective. Crysis 2 isn't Far Cry 2, hell, it's not much more open than Halo: Reach.

Crysis 2 is still a great game and I wish it ran better, but after seven hours I had to just put it down, because a man can only take dumb AI, enemies getting stuck in buildings and game crashing bugs so many times before it drives them away.
