I can't belive no one has mentioned this one yet, the end of this movie just begs for a seque...........MONSTERS INC.

Oh, and I know that there was three of these, but I could really go for Bourne Ultra Ultimatidum, or whatever they would call it. Who cares if there is not a fourth book; from what I understand the films diviate drastically from the books. I say go for it.

No, some great movies should stay as standalone piece of art. Definitely sequel of Akira, Blade Runner or Scarface would kill the legend.

I did my final year A-level exam on bladerunner, a sequel was written, but nobody could make it better than the original so it was scrapped.

Also has anybody heard about peter jacksons "the hobbit" yet?

I would love too see sequels to both Bullit and Lost In Space

I don't have a source to back this up, but I believe a Ghost Busters sequel was in the works(at least at the writing stage) once upon a time, but Bill Murray said no, which basically killed the project.
