well mistwalker is microsoft 2nd party microsoft funded the studio and i believe they can develop for the ds and wii as u see in the lost story but cant for a sony platform

Mistwalker is an independent studio. They develop games for hire and, as far as I know, they don't control any of the IPs they created. They worked for Microsoft in the past by their latest game, The Last Story, was for Nintendo.

yes independent studio but second party microsoft funded the studio for sakugachi and formed mistwalker and feel plus

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mistwalker

and I thank Microsoft for The Last Story, if it wasn't for MS, there'd be no reformed Mistwalker making that kick ass game =D

I'll drink to that!!

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

Ready at Dawn has made 4 games. One was a Wii port of Okami. I really don't think they matter.

Matter? In terms of what?

They've sold a few million copies of their games and have a lot of talent in their studio- former Blizzard and Naughty dog devs included if I'm not mistaken. In a few years they could well expand beyond the handheld space.

Matter in terms of no one cares about them because they haven't made a game in like 3 years.

Why single them out? Bethesda and Infinity Ward are on the list too, I see no games from them on Nintendo consoles in the last 3 years.

Also I'm aware this thread is about Nintendo, but your choice of words is confusing in the sense it ignores everything but Nintendo. That coupled with your sweeping statement is what caused me to reply.

I excused Bethesda because they made Fallout 3 and I played the hell out of it on PC. Infinity Ward is trash.

Epic Games, Infinity Ward and Ready at Down has confirmed. I doubt about the others.

There's a difference between anti-Nintendo and anti-Wii. The latter category has many more candidates.

Indeed, because the gamecube got so much support.

Anyway, a lot of people seem to be just listing companies that haven't made games for the Wii, as opposed to companies that go out of their way to insult Nintendo

theirs no such company. look at 3rd party sales on the wii and youd understand. yes some of the games released are terrible, but if they make the game better that increases production costs, and a better game wont automatically bring more sales.

some devs are haters, but if they had a big oppurtunity on a nintendo system they would take it.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

Actually you could say that Nintendo has been 'anti' to these developers as well. It's a two way street here and that doesn't mean that Nintendo has to be pro anything as much as these developers have to be pro whatever Nintendo does. This doesn't have to be a blame game here, people and companies are free to choose the grand majority of the time and whatever consequences arise from decisions any particular party are just a part of life playing out.

Tease.

I'll give you a hint, it's called DS.
