Apparently a console with 86 million is not a priority for EA.

It's fairplay to me. In return, I don't buy anything EA anymore. We can haz priority, too.

For all we know, the supposed Wii port of Dead Space 2 could have only been in the concept stage before they canned it. And seeing how they opted to release NFS: Hot Pursuit it's questionable what DS2 would have been on the Wii anyway. Also, there's the issue that the first Dead Space got ported to the iPhone, so it's really hard to believe that EA has been serious about this at any point.

Thank you for the response, Rol. I was looking forward to reading your take on this.

So you don't think there may be a part of EA (internally) that isn't biased against the Wii being held back by upper management?

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

They should have taken the Dead Space on iPhone and made it a Wii-game instead

Doubtful. And if there ever was, then they were the first ones to get fired with all the layoffs EA had in the last few years.

That's a definite possibility. Although I would like to point out that EA are performing badly in general this generation across all platforms. Dead Space is not exactly setting any charts on fire, MOA is a lost cause IMO, Spore never came through, and the fact that they are going two years straight without an NBA Live is just embarrassing...

What's left is Tiger Woods and FIFA which certainly aren't expanding their user base, and NFS which I'll admit is looking pretty cool with the dual directions it's taking.

Also, I have little hope for the Star Wars MMO to be a mainstream success, but that's not exactly first party EA anyway... It's too bad they killed so many of their good studios...

edit: What I mean by all this is that it's quite possible EA's lackluster support comes down to poor management this gen. rather than personal bias.

Ask me about being an elitist jerk

Time for hype

Why would they release the second game when they never released the first one?

Or are we talking Dead Space 2 Extraction here?

Can't say I disagree with DS2, and if it was like other recent EA Wii games (Tiger excepted) it wouldn't have been anything worth having anyways.

Shame about the Simpsons 2 though.   Good fit for the Wii and the last one was popular enough.  I missed it but would love to try it.

EA aint doing that bad, MOH did ok, Sims still sell and thats all i could think of, meh
