That's a definite possibility. Although I would like to point out that EA are performing badly in general this generation across all platforms. Dead Space is not exactly setting any charts on fire, MOA is a lost cause IMO, Spore never came through, and the fact that they are going two years straight without an NBA Live is just embarrassing...
What's left is Tiger Woods and FIFA which certainly aren't expanding their user base, and NFS which I'll admit is looking pretty cool with the dual directions it's taking.
Also, I have little hope for the Star Wars MMO to be a mainstream success, but that's not exactly first party EA anyway... It's too bad they killed so many of their good studios...
edit: What I mean by all this is that it's quite possible EA's lackluster support comes down to poor management this gen. rather than personal bias.
