The thing is, to stick to the main storyline theyve got to make the characters Desmonds ancestors. Having characters all over the place might get a bit implausible.

That said, I dont think you can say for certain Altair and Ezio are related (one could be his father's ancestor, the other his mothers ancestor). Few people seem to have picked that up.

If this is real, than awesome! Really looking forward to travel across the French beautiful farmlands from Paris to Marseille. I think we will see Paris, Marseille and Lyon if this is true. Pretty cool cities :) 

I havent played any of the AC eventho i have 1 & 2 still in my backlog, but so AC Brotherhood was a spinoff and had nothing to do with AC2?

Please don't rush this Ubisoft.....2 just raised the bar sooo much over 1..I'd love to see the same with 3

It has everything to do with 2; it is a continuation of Ezio's story.Nothing really except for the end is relevant for #3 anyways. Worth a play though for sure if you find the time!
