i'm not surprise to see motorstorm didn't do well as this franchise never did well before, plus US & UK gamers just don't have hype at PS3 exclusive games at all except title that is really popular, so everything seems normal to me

Sony ruined Motorstorm themselves, the release dates of the game are so messed up and even the gaming media have no idea whats going on with it. Some people are freely talking about it, some people are under embargo, some people think it's delayed for another month and then you have the people that reviewed the game like a month ago and have forgotten it has even released. Then they don't advertise it, they don't send out a press release and my EB has no clue when they're getting any copies in stock, while the JB-Hi-Fi I walked pass yesterday has been displaying copies of it since Thursday.

I don't really care about the game itself and I'll pick it up and enjoy it like I did the other Motostorm titles, but Evolution studios doesn't deserve this. Sony should have either delayed the game for another month and made a simulataneous release between EMEAA and the US or they should have just delayed it in Japan and kept the game on track for it's normal release.

I'm disgusted with them and now a really talented UK developer is going to be hurt because of Sonys incompetence.

Poor Motorstorm got hammered because of poor release time, they should have delayed it for a month or sumthing instead of screwing up the simultaneous release.

However, with the choatic release, it was never going to go great, and it is shame what has happened to the game, especially as it is very very good. Having said that, with the way it glorifies earthquakes, there was no real option other than to delay it
