Not out of the box. And why not include emulators? |
Well, you do need to put a flash drive in PS3's USB slot... and emulators are not really part of the platform itself, its just a hack.

I'm just making the point that everything is accessible (in terms of number of games) on PC.
Get a PC and everything is downloadable. On PS3 you have to get the hack and use it in ways that weren't intended and potentially can ruin your warranty.

Yes, everything is accessible on PC...with hacks.
And you just need to downgrade PS3 belov 3.41 and than just stick PS3 jaikbreak flash drive in USB port and thats it - thats hardly any hacking

Er, you have it backwords... possibly intentionally?
You don't have to hack anything to get things on the PC.
While you know, what you described very much is hacking the PS3.

But then you wouldn't be able to play any new games as they require the latest firmware. It's a lot more hassle on PS3, can ruin your warranty and is a constant battle against the crap Sony does.
On PC it's just a simple download and you're away with no hassle from manufacturer.

Once again, it just babbles on about what isn't suffering from piracy and industries helped by piracy. But no mention of the publishers and developers that actually produce the software and how they are affected. Late ports, less support from major developers, and frequent digital download sales is all a reflection of how piracy is hurting PC game sales. |
Aren't publishers and developers a part of the industry? If the industry is helped by piracy than surely it's overall a good thing for the publishers and developers.
Also, the support hasn't decreased from developers or publishers. Games are still being released on PC, it's just a lot of once PC "exclusive" studios are also releasing on consoles and I'm not sure why you think frequent digital download sales are a bad thing. If anything, a digital download is more profitable for publishers as they control the pricing and get larger profit margins as they cut out the retailer. It's also helped smaller/medium sized studios find significant niche markets in which they can thrive.

So you're telling me emulators come with the PC together once you buy one?

Actually there is a programm that updates your pirated PS3 games on your HDD but you have to reset all the process than. As for warranty, PS3s are very good build up machines

Er... downloading isn't hacking?
You don't need to bypass any security features to use an emulator on PC.
