Its becasue Capcom would do something dumb like that. Anyways if Capcom doesn't want to be serious with the series then they lost my interest. RE5 lost my interest. RE4 > RE5.

I actually couldn't care less. I just finished RE5 and I thought it was just ok. Moreover, the storyline is so convoluted that I would rather prefer if Capcom reboot the series in a future installment.

Imo if it comes on 360 and PS3 i don't see why NGP can't get a watered down version? I been thinking this may be the case with many multi platformers in the future, considering how powerful NGP is supposed to be.

But seriously, I wouldn't be surprised. Considering how easy it is to port to the NGP and how close it is to the home consoles in terms of power, multiplatform games on NGP wouldn't be a bad idea at all. Home consoles aren't due an upgrade for a while yet.
