If it won't be announced until the end of 2011, does that mean it is a 2012 game in Japan and a 2013 game in the US?

Now we'll place bets on how long it will be again before people start saying "Moved to the 3DS/PS3"

Though that seems longer than i had imagined, and would signal that Nintendo does not plan on replacing Wii in Japan before the end of the year or even early next year, unless they run a very quick announcement---> launch cycle for the game, which would be out of character
