Can't wait for this game :)

Watching the recent previews on Giantbomb it looks like the tracking has been much improved.  It looked extremely accurate and crisp.

Realy?

I couldn't find a preview there. Mind putting it on my wall?

It would be amaaaaying if it could work properly with kinect, but everything I've read and seen so far makes me think that it'll never really work well.

Watch his hand in comparison to the cursor.  It's almost 1:1, and the "floatyness" seems to be gone, looks very crisp.

it kind of looks like a trippy rail-shooter to me.  are that many people really hyped about this game?

You've obviously never played Rez.

Now kids, that's why you can't mix drugs and alcohol.

Above: still the best game of the year.

I will at least tell one of my friends with Kinect to buy it :D

SO HYPED.

Me 4.

this game looks great, if the reviews are  good (and they should be unless its 2 hours long or something), then this might be Kinects first AAA game

It's a freaking rail shooter and on every system, why does kienct suck so much that it has to pretend a rail shooter is exclusive?

I watched the vid 3 times. It still looks like a worse input method than a controller. Sorry, but I am entitled to my opinion.

I disagree in this case, with your hand you can swipe (which it's tracking in real time) and stop exactly where you intend, more akin to a mouse.  The alternative is controlling the pointer with a thumbstick where you just steer in the direction you want and need to stop when you see it arrive.  It's not a 1:1 relation to the position of the thumbstick and the cursor, whereas the position of your hand is.

So after a while position of the pointer on screen in relation to the position of your hand becomes muscle memory and you will be able to quickly move your hand to a location in space and the cursor will be where you intend it to be.  Driving the cursor around the screen isn't as precise or quick.

Anyway, the tracking looks much better, which was my original point.

'' and stop exactly where you intend, more akin to a mouse''

Oh really.

''The alternative is controlling the pointer with a thumbstick where you just steer in the direction you want and need to stop when you see it arrive''

AHEM.Oh really.

''So after a while position of the pointer on screen in relation to the position of your hand becomes muscle memory and you will be able to quickly move your hand to a location in space and the cursor will be where you intend it to be''

You might be right on this. Time will tell. Its sure going to be interesting...

''Anyway, the tracking looks much better, which was my original point.''

You're right, it does look better. The first vids they showed off were just terrible. The main question is how fun it'll be to play with kinect, but on the other hand, you can always switch to the controller when you get a little tired of it.

mmmm.... anybody have a preview of it with people sitting down instead of standing all the time?
