I disagree in this case, with your hand you can swipe (which it's tracking in real time) and stop exactly where you intend, more akin to a mouse. The alternative is controlling the pointer with a thumbstick where you just steer in the direction you want and need to stop when you see it arrive. It's not a 1:1 relation to the position of the thumbstick and the cursor, whereas the position of your hand is.
So after a while position of the pointer on screen in relation to the position of your hand becomes muscle memory and you will be able to quickly move your hand to a location in space and the cursor will be where you intend it to be. Driving the cursor around the screen isn't as precise or quick.
Anyway, the tracking looks much better, which was my original point.
