Good news ,the graphics are truly astounding .Its hard to believe these games are actually running on a portable system .I think it will do great in Japan ,in Occident it will do good but nothing special .Square must be quite happy with its PSP releases sales ,Crisis Core has sold a lot in Japan alone and will do a killing in western territories ,the port of Final Fantasy Tactics has done some 600K units worlwide so a lot of cash for few effort ...I hope this Dissidia game and Kingdom Hearts sell a lot and Square keeps supporting the PSP .Star Ocean too ,this week we will know .

Yeah , I really hope that Star Ocean will do well ... its true , that game is a bit of fast cash style game , but still , It would be nice if it would do good :)

Awww man, why did they have to release another high quality game that would fit perfectly on the PS3 (or any other console available) for the PSP, a handheld (it could have been on DS too, doesn't change my opinion at all)? ;_;

Anyways, it looks awesome and it will be different from the RPG-side of Final Fantasy, which is already a plus in my book! I guess I'll be waiting for some more screenshots, and maybe a trailer or something? =P

Sounds like the impressions are good overall, though there's not too much to work off of. I'm getting hopeful for this game, though if it is good I'd still rather see it on the Wii (but not the PS2, even though I could play it for free that way). I'm really hoping other companies follow SE's lead and start putting decent games on the PSP to achieve decent results.

are of more value than the whole NDS library

Eh, you guys do know you can plug in the new Slim PSP into your TV right? Sure it's only like 2/3rds size of your TV or something... but it basically makes the PSP a plug in PS2.

Why would you say that you won't play any Final Fantasy games anymore?

The Final Fantasy's are all different, they're not like Halo 1, 2 and 3, or Ace Combat 1 to 5.
You can love Final Fantasy VII and disslike IX.
XII is quite different from VI.
So you don't really know what Square will come up with.

The upcoming XIII also seems to be quite different from the rest.

So no sense in saying that you won't play a game or series when you don't even know how the next game will be..
