It's probably only affects me but when I try to open random threads in here, my  browser gets hi-jacked by an "antivirus" programme that insists on doing a virus scan on my pc, it's obviously fake but it only comes up when I'm using vgchartz which leads me to believe it's from here.

I did a scan (with my own anti virus) and deleted it but it's back again.

Any help?

Yep, I use avast! anti-virus (home) and Mcafee (work) and twice this week I got the red pop-up on avast! and alert on McAfee that something was blocked and and placed in the vault when I was only on this site.

The first time was over the weekend and again yesterday. After each everything was fine with no further warnings.

I think it happened - both times -  when I accidently clicked on particular link but I can't remember which.

That "Virus" popped up on my Wii before (when my Wii was still capable of posting on VGChartz.  Those were good times.).  I took pics of it with my cell phone, too!  It's fake of course.  I took them ages ago but I still have the pics.  I should post 'em.

It will stay till PS3 is put number 1 worldwide in LTD sales.
