Forums - Nintendo - Name problem with FC's

Alright so I added several people from VGChartz as well as people I know from PAX. But all I know are these guys online aliases. However their real names are used by my 3DS so instead of Getting Cheebee I got Thierry. Now on DSi and such when you added a friend code you entered the name you know them by. However with 3DS it uses their real name, I believe I used my online alias JoelCool7 so everyone will recognize me.

But I have a horrible memory so remembering who everyone is, is going to be difficult. Anybody else worried about this? Also if your on my friends list and you message me to play a game, your going to have to tell me what your regestered name is again because I've already lost track of who everyone is.

Anyone else having issues with this? , don't get me wrong its not a big deal. Heck I'm using my online alias so everyone will know me. But trying to remember who's alias goes with who's name is freaking difficult!

My biggest problem with any id system, is that I can't personally nickname people I added. For example I added a guy name xXJoelXx (I hate the X thing some users do or anyone who puts AZN....) and I want to label it is Joel....I can't do that.

I am starting to get PSN list that is growing, and am forgetting who a couple of users are.

I agree, this does get very difficult to remember who is who. Which is why I put my VGC user as the message above my mii for the time being.

< I just solve this problem by being awesome

My current message is 'I'm MrT-Tar btw', which should help people.  I do agree though that it can be fustrating

That's ok if you have a small username like yours, anything over 10 letters gets cut out.

This seems to work pretty well. Maybe, and i know this sounds crazy, but when there is messaging and stuff, it might not be a terrible idea to know peoples actual names. Ha! ;)
