With Kinect getting core and casual offerings, he might be right about the exclusives, well if you forget Move has games too.

Most buyers do.

PS3 gamers buy quality not marketing.

Is that a sly dig at 360/Kinect users?

Never, but we really disnt buy the crap games Sony gave us with Move. I am still waiting for that game that sells me the reason I bought Move. Table Tennis is amazing though.

What about Killzone and the likes?

I don't buy Killzone for move or do I use it for that reason. I want that unique experience like Dance Central. A game made for Move not just Move supported. It's a great technology which Sony has half assed supported.

But if people dont support it now. With it's lacklustre numbers it will fall by the wayside like 32cd for MegaDrive?

We do support it, we have bought millons of Move, but the software sucks, thus doesn't sell. It was't the fastest selling tech of all times, but it is selling well. Where are you getting the lackluster numbers from?

Even Dreamcast sold 10 million but fell to the wayside. Also hasnt reports from websites shown the numbers to be inflated? Numbers include seperate move wand sold.

The lataest 4.1 million sold units of "move" to retailer are including every type of "move" product. In other words standalone wand units or standalone Eyecamera.

As other sites and forums are pointing out, Sony needs an accurate way to actually track how many actual units are sold. Imagine if Wii counted every wand????????????

To point to this just look and add up the entire sales of Move games.

No, Sony stated that their 4.1 mil figure was for the Move controllers alone.  It does not include the PS Eye or the Navigation controller sales.  Of course, when they say sold they mean shipped.  And I believe they will give an updated number at E3 this year.

This is just silly. Anyone looking at 2011 knows that Dreamcast has more exclusives releasing then any of the competition.

Come on Microsoft's Greenberg-er-stein-son-man-lo.

Greenberg doing marketing respecting competitors intead of attacking and insulting them like a drunk caveman is such a welcome novelty (yes, I know, he started behaving more nicely already some months ago, but I'm not used to it yet  ), that I will neither bash nor mock him. He's just doing his work, Kinect is just selling better than what haters wished and sceptics thought, but a lot better in America and UK than elsewhere, and nevertheless PS3 is outselling XB360 WW weekly quite regularly.  Every competitor has something to be happy and something to be not, or less, about, the last months have been maybe the most balanced of this gen, up until now.

Actually no. Your wrong. They group them alltogether. Notice how they phrase it Move units. And say stores are asking for more. As many websites are stating the game sales shows this. They are poor game sales to say the least.

" A Sony representative explained that the 4.1 million actually represents Move units shipped to stores, adding "While we don't disclose our exact sell-through number, the key is that our retailers continue to ask for more Move units and are taking every unit we can supply them with based on their sales." Which, you know, would have been a cool thing to put in that press release, we think"

No one has more exclusives than Sony this year

Pretty much all their hardcore titles are being released this  year

At least wait 4 days more to make that statement.
