Forums - Sales - Modern Warfare 3 Playstation sales could surpass 360 this year

This will not happen Especially this year. The PS3 has too much exclusives this year and PS3 owners will be saving there money them. Just look at Bulletstorm and Homefront and Dragon age2(Sh#t game), The sales for the 360 versions of them have doubled the PS3 versions. This is because they've had LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 2 and yakuza 4 so far, and they've got plenty more to come through the year which they'll be spending there cash on, Like:

Socom 4, Resistance 3, Uncharted 3, Twisted Metal,  Sorcery(PSmove title), Journey(PSN), InFamous 2, Under siege(PSN), ICO and SOTC collection, And maybe ther last guardian.

I know i'd prefer any of them titles over MW3.

sorry the call of duty pc community is dead. The way IW treated the pc community with Call of Duty with MW2 was a disgrace. No dedicated servers? Shitty Matchmaking? No mods or custom content? Making us pay for maps? What bullshit. Black ops is no better.

i think $250 will be the price as SONY doesn't want to lose out and SONY is ready to lose money at start

also there is no other big franchise out there that could help NGP as much against 3DS so SONY will like to take advantage of it

The Uncharted game on the NGP should help sales out a lot.  I'm sure that Sony is willing to lose some money at the begining seeing that they lost a lot per unit when they first launched the PS3.  Also they are very fast when it comes to make cost saving revisions on their hardware so they wouldn't loose a lot of money for a long time.

exactly its like console gaming thats why pc sales will fail horribly. Online pc games need dedicated servers, and custom content in order to survive.  Pc sales really wont help overall sales of MW3 at all.

PC gaming is being killed by massive piracy, not lack of custom content and dedicated servers. People steal regardless if those features are availble.
