i think $250 will be the price as SONY doesn't want to lose out and SONY is ready to lose money at start

also there is no other big franchise out there that could help NGP as much against 3DS so SONY will like to take advantage of it

The Uncharted game on the NGP should help sales out a lot.  I'm sure that Sony is willing to lose some money at the begining seeing that they lost a lot per unit when they first launched the PS3.  Also they are very fast when it comes to make cost saving revisions on their hardware so they wouldn't loose a lot of money for a long time.
