Forums - Gaming - Best FPS of 2011?

MonstaMack said:

Can we wait till the end of the year? You still have the new battle field, rumored HALO HD remake, the new Call of Duty (maybe they'll add more features, though replay, bringing back zombies and customization were pretty big steps for a redutant frnachise) RAGE (how can anyone forget this?) Deus Ex and of course Duke Nukem.

Though right now my clear cut winner is Crysis 2.

Deus Ex is a FPS?

OT:

RAGE looks the best right now...lets see what happens.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Right now the best for me is Killzone 3, but other strong looking contendors will most likely be Battlefield 3, Rage and Crysis 2.

However if the Halo Remake is true and comes out this year then that will almost assuredly be the best FPS that comes out this year.

It's still March!  Who knows?  Ask me later.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Half-Life 2: Episode Three......................... >_<"

Only played one this year and that's Bulletstorm.  I really liked Bulletstorm as well.  Over the top crazy shooter that never takes itself too seriously.  Just gives you a lot of cool weapons and cool ways to kill people and that's it.  And that's all I needed to have a good time haha.

Out of the others I would love to play Crysis 2 but going to be awhile before I do.  Homefront and Killzone 3 really aren't too high on the "want to play" list.  I'll probably eventually play Homefront though, but doubtful for KZ3.

As for the rest of the year, looking forward to Duke Nukem Forever, Battlefield 3, Rage, and Halo remake if true.

Crisis 2 until Rage and Battlefield 3 comes out. And let's not forget Duke.

2011. Rage

2012. Bioshock Infinite

2013.  Who cares, world will end in 2012

No way to make that call yet, so many good games later in the year like skeeuk said.
