Guy 1: Hey, what game do you think is going to be Nintendo DS´s swam song?

Guy 2: OUR GAME!!!!!

All: YEAH!!!!!

They did the same for PS2 with Persona 4 ;)

They're releasing it on the DS? That's surprising, especially considering that DS:O is coming out on the 3DS. It seems like it would've been easy to just re-use most of the stuff(engine/assets) from DS:O to make DS2???

I'd been putting off getting DS, and decided to pick up DS:O when it's released. Maybe I'll have to wait for DS2:O now as well. ;-p

In many ways it's better its for the DS, then I can import it from the US as long as it is released there.  I know Atlus won't localise it for Europe, they are among the worst offenders for PAL localisation in recent years.

They never localized Trauma center: under the knife 2 too so I had to import that, some guy is selling Devil survivor on amazon for £99.99... yeah I wont bother with that lol, I will try ebay.

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

Oh you can see DS2 info/screens over at Famitsu.com now.

The worst offenders in the PAL region are the PAL gamers.

@screens: Looks pretty much like the original DS game on the DS (hehe), which is good.

don't give me that.  Demon Souls and Trauma Centre: SO (two games published by Atlus in NA, but published by others in PAL) sold 190k and 260k respectively.  Which is more than nearly all games published by Rising Star, such as No More Heroes, Little King's Story, Rune Factory, Fragile and Half Minute Hero do.

And even for the sales for Demon Souls, I am sure that they would higher if Europe didn't have to wait about 9 months for Namco to release it here.  Out of the 18 people I know with a PS3, 11 imported the game from the US in that time.  I know that we don't have exactly the best taste in games here in Europe, but I don't see why that should justify Atlus just waiting for other publishers such as Nintendo or Square-Enix to pick up their games.

Explain Lost Odyssey to me then.

according to this site, LO sold about 250k in Europe.  Which to means seems OK, but not amazing for a JRPG which isn't named Final Fantasy/Pokemon/Mario/Dragon Quest.  It sold enough to turn a profit without a doubt

^Meek considering all the effort Microsoft put into it with the major advertising and quality translation to the main Euro languages. Even meeker considering that it had no release delay between regions, and alos got pwned by US sales.
